Research

I love research but I go too far and too long and gather too much, way more than I need.

I can’t proceed without it, though, because, as you can imagine I am certain that I will miss the key, the message, the meaning, the most important point and the whole piece will suffer.

So I do.

When I start a project I can make the preliminary research and notes last for weeks. Then there is the panic and scattered energy days that my whole house appreciates.

Finally, I get down to it. I am headed there, now.
